Wassup Yall . This is Dayshia , checkin in one time . I decided to post the same post i put on blogger on tumblr because i feel the same way as i did on October 28th and will continue to feel this way because regardless of what anyone else thinks i will be consistant with my feelings about CIK because no matter what happens with us i still feel that people shouldn’t have to revolve themselves because they seen two people with a dream . Just Sayin. But anywho :

Unlike some , CIK has a high tolerance for exact and complete work . Not having your projects rushed and unfinished as if it were some type of race or competition is mind-bottling to me . I don’t understand why some people try to run after someone else’s work ? I find it funny how CIK has opened eyes some non-believers and dreamkillers , because before NO ONE would understand or even want to hear what we had to say BUT now they can’t wait till we open up shop or drop our first item of clothing. Im shocked to be quite honest with you… Its got me over here CIKfully laughing!!! I just felt like getting the REAL out finally because it’s been workin our nerves for a lil minute. Not to mention a lot of “lil groups” are starting to form all of a sudden. Now there are folks cookin’ up lil cute names and starting to have a creative mindset , with dreams of opening up boutique shops and making their own clothes , shoes and shit . Im not knocking anyone because im glad to see so many people have goals and ambitions , dreams of being successfull in the world - we need more people like that - but have your own imagination is all im saying . We def. need more Sneakerheads in the business , more FEMALE sneakerheads , really . But we’re much more than that - if you don’t alreaday know . Just having knowledge of music - sneakers - different types of artists - clothing types - etc. is what makes us CIK . So not bashing ANYONE - never that because we always show love to anyone who throws it our way , 1hunnit . But in Saginaw , MI where were from - SHITS CRAZY. & i mean that , honestly . So always big blessings and four thumbs up to all those who apsire to go higher and be great providers , i love yall and thank yall for having a beautiful open mind : )

I bring to you ladies and gentleman… the LONG-AWAITED blog post that shall begin a habit of all hobbies. 

Now, doing a whole bio on Danny G’s life would be highly unncessary and that’s not at all what we’re here to do but this post is indeed on a more personal level seeing as ChicksInKicks (CIK) shares a mutual friendship with this featured artist: Danny G.  If it’s one thing that CIK does want to ALWAYS do though, it’s PROMOTE and who better to put our team on than ourselves? 

Danny comes straight out of a group that we are honored to be dabbling in conversation with from time to time: FreshSince.  They,too, have a long-awaited blog post that is on its way.  CIK has honestly just been busy guys. But, with all of us being out of the small town of Saginaw, MI it is a true statement that we are our own supporters. It’s a good thing that these guys don’t make it hard to be excited about proclaiming their works to the public.

As you can see from the picture up top Danny has released a project entitled #BrokeRich: Low Funds, High Times.  CIK has had the ultimate pleasure in listening to this mixtape and to let it be known… WE LOVE IT! We could not be any more proud of the moves that were made with this work.  From the beginning to the end with every feature and every verse this is honestly something that everyone should take a test drive with and it’s a given that you can not and will not be disappointed.  It takes you through a whirlwind of sounds with some familiar beats and rhythms and even some originals.  From the first listen it is TOO HARD to put away.  It is guarunteed that you will have this on your iPhones, iPods, Zunes, Blackberrys, car CD player, and HEY… even though many people have forgotten about it… we still need to put songs through to the RADIO!
